  • You have spiritual yearnings that are causing unrest.
  • You are not in the midst of an urgent mental health crisis and can wait a few days or weeks to be seen
  • You want more time with your mental health practitioner
  • You are fairly stabilized and wanting to go deeper into healing your mental health issues.
  • You have residual symptoms after long term medication use
  • You want to consider alternatives to medication and a holistic approach to your mental health
  • You realize that your mental health symptoms and your overall physical health are inextricably linked
  • You do not depend on insurance to cover the cost of your mental healthcare

Step 2:
Intake Screening

We provide mental health consultations by becoming a part of your support network

Integrative Psychiatry focuses on your supports. You already might have a treatment team. We offer second opinions and treatment intensives as well as conventional mental health care. Typically people who are not getting results or are stuck in treatment seek a consult with us. We can work with people in relatively stabilized condition. Oftentimes when we are in a crisis, our coping skills are at their lowest. Stabilization and containment comes at different levels. Sometimes we feel that a person based on their presentation might not be able to work with us till stabilization takes place at a higher level of care. That is when we recommend containers that can happen intense distress. For example when safety is of concern we escalate level of care to group work or intensive outpatients. Sometimes we recommend hospitalization for safety reasons.
