Timothy Stacey, LPC-S
Tim Stacey is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field. His work bridges the analytical clarity of evidence-based therapy with the gentle strength of compassion-centered care. Tim brings deep attunement to each client, skillfully holding both the emotional heart of their story and the structural roots of their suffering.
Throughout his career, Tim has worked in a range of settings, including private practice, community mental health, crisis intervention services, and inpatient substance use treatment. This broad experience has shaped his grounded and flexible approach to therapy — one that welcomes complexity and honors the unique path each person walks.
At Integrative Psychiatry-Austin and Blossom Ketamine, Tim specializes in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and major life transitions. He brings particular expertise in trauma-informed care, and is trained in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy through the MAPS program. He is also one of our leading ketamine-assisted psychotherapists, known for his calming presence, deep listening, and ability to create a container where real change can unfold.
Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Holotropic Breathwork and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Tim meets each client with curiosity and humility. His calm, nonjudgmental stance quickly builds trust, especially for those who have felt unseen or overwhelmed in previous therapeutic experiences. For many, Tim offers a rare balance: someone who holds the full intellectual architecture of their case, while also being fully present to their pain, their parts, and their potential.

A Note on Orientation:
Tim approaches therapy as a collaborative and deeply respectful process. His work is rooted in presence, curiosity, and a profound belief that people can heal when they feel seen without judgment. He brings both clinical clarity and soulful attunement — blending science and heart — to help clients navigate their challenges with strength and self-compassion.
Whether working with trauma, anxiety, or expanded states of consciousness, Tim holds space for each person’s unfolding. He views therapy not just as symptom relief, but as a path toward deeper self-understanding, resilience, and the freedom to live more fully.
