Dr. Qazi Javed was recently named to the Governor of Texas’ Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome Advisory Council by Governor Abbott. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Javed and the Integrative Psychiatry Austin team will be discussing this often misunderstood condition in an informal video series.
PANS/PANDAS can be a challenging diagnosis, not for just the child but for the people surrounding the child. We want parents as well as the child’s community to know that there is hope. We are sharing a series of conversations with our talented team of integrative practitioners, including physician’s assistant Sara Klopp, PA-C, clinical herbalist Audrey Barden Rossetti, LAc, MAcOM, neuropsychologist Carney Soderberg, PsyD, and nutritionist Brenda Gregory, MS, FDN-P, about PANS/PANDAS.
This series intends to help create awareness about PANS/PANDAS and to start the conversation for parents seeking an integrative approach toward helping the child.
The conversations on PANS/PANDAS will be available to view on our website as well as on our facebook page.
